Product Description: Listing Update…This is not so much an update as it is a brief comment about the computers and related parts I have available for sale. Personal computers (and in particular desktop computers) have always been a hobby of mine. I’ve enjoyed tinkering with this stuff over the years and have accumulated a number of items during this time…some new and some used. I am not an expert on the subject…more of an enthusiast…but I will still do my best to answer any questions as it relates to my computer related listings. Thank you. Original Listing… This offering is for a new Thermaltake V150 mini tower computer case. Note: I am referring to this as a mini tower case, even though the labeling on the factory packaging (box) indicates it’s a mid tower case. I am doing this because the case is not compatible with an ATX motherboard, only a Micro ATX motherboard (or smaller). It’s probably best classified as a middle-of-the-road offering with a decent feature set. If I had to pick one of the features that I like the best, it would be the full length/width tempered glass window that is also hinged (so it swings out away from the case for complete access, but still remains connected. A couple of other observations about this case…I do like the power supply shroud and there appears to be room for a non modular power supply. This is the case because there is not the traditional 3.5″ drive bay (cage) to the left of the power supply. Instead there are 3.5″ drive mounts that will not take up as much room in this area (which leaves more space for tucking/hiding cables behind the shroud. The next question is probably something along the lines of how did I end up with this new case (especially since it’s been out of current production for years). The short answer is I’ve just got too many new computer cases sitting on the shelf and since I do not have any immediate plans for this one, I’ll make it available to someone that may want it (especially since this model is hard to find in new condition in today’s market). Having said all of the above, I thought it might also be helpful if I shared a spec. sheet of sorts that highlights some of the primary computer case features: Basic Description (type/color): Mini tower with a ventilated top, partially ventilated front panel/bezel and a black finish Case Material: mostly steel with a windowed (tempered glass) side panel and a plastic front panel/bezel Motherboard Compatibility: Micro ATX and Mini ITX Dimensions (H x W x D): 17.32″ x 8.19″ x 15.67″ Weight: 12 lbs. Front Panel Ports: two black USB Type-A (2.0 running at 480 Mb/s), one blue USB Type-A (3.2 Gen 1 running at 5 Gb/s), an audio input (microphone) and an audio output (speaker/headphone)…there is also a hard drive LED, an on/off button with a LED indicator and a reset button. Expansion: Two 3.5″ drive bays/mounts (for hard drives), two 2.5″ drive bays/mounts (for SSDs) and four expansion slots Fan Options: Front (2 x 120 mm or 2 x 140 mm), top (1 x 120 mm or 1 x 140 mm) and rear (1 x 120 mm / included) Radiator Options (max size): Front (280 mm) and rear (120 mm) Other: There is a removable filter on the bottom of the case (under which the power supply fan will be positioned). This will need to be removed and cleaned periodically to keep good (cool) airflow entering into the power supply unit. In terms of condition, this is a new case and will be shipped in it’s original box with all the factory foam packing to ensure safe transit. I can also confirm the case still has it’s full compliment of accessories in a small plastic bag (and is visible in one of the pictures above). So again, it’s effectively a new case, but I am calling it an open box offering, because of it’s brief history out of the box (to take the pictures uploaded above). Note to domestic customers regarding oversized package shipping… For domestic packages, FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery Service generally offers the lowest ground shipping rate for oversized packages in the continental US (i.e., the “Lower 48”). My domestic shipping costs to Alaska, Hawaii and the US Territories are much higher. It’s also worth noting if cost is not as much of an issue (or if you prefer US Postal Services “USPS” over FedEx), then USPS Priority Mail service is generally the most timely of the domestic shipping options. Note to international customers regarding oversized package shipping… International shipping requirements vary for larger packages (including size limitations from country to country). As a result, international customers should contact us before purchasing larger items. We are then able to research shipping options to determine if we are able to ship a particular oversized item to your country and then provide an accurate shipping quote. This way we will avoid any confusion or misunderstanding with respect to international shipping of oversized packages. Note to international customers regarding customs… We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs’ laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery.
