The body is white ceramic, the lid/cap is gold and quartz, and the 40-leads are gold. The chip is in excellent condition (see pictures). This chip would make a great addition to your microprocessor collection. About the Intel 8048The Intel 8048, also known as the MCS-48, was the original member of the 8048 family.
