The memory modules have been engineered using high quality 4 layer gold plated printed circuit board with internal power and ground planes for maximum data integrity and low power supply ripple. Each memory modules has been professionally hand assembled using new old stock memory chips, and has been individual tested. Modules are guaranteed to be functional.The 2MB ROM module is made with 4pcs 512k x 8 flash memory chips which are socketed and can be reprogrammed using an EPROM/Flash memory programmer by the end user. The module is compatible with Macintosh computers with a 64-pin ROM SIMM socket and is similar to the BMOW Rominator & MacSIMM. Installing the ROM SIMM may require disabling on-board ROM by setting or removing a jumper on the motherboard. The module comes pre-programmed with a ROM image and bootable System 7.0.1. CPU accelerators such as Daystar PowerCache and Turbo series are not compatible.
